Help us build the operating system for new-build housing.
Ubrix has a clear mission and real customers. The people who join now will shape the product, the culture and the company for years to come. We are looking for people who want to do their best work on problems that genuinely matter to the industry.
Why Ubrix
Work that matters
We are building the operational spine that UK new-build housing has been missing, connecting sales, build and aftercare in a way the industry has not had before. The problems are real, the workflows are concrete, and the teams using Ubrix are running actual developments.
We are doing meaningful work with real customers. The people who join now will shape the product and the company for the long term, not slot into a role that has been pre-defined to the last detail.

What we believe
Principles we build to
Built on reality
Every feature in Ubrix traces back to a real workflow observed inside a real business. We do not invent tools for imaginary users or optimise for buyer conference demos.
Designed for speed
Housebuilders and contractors are operationally busy and cannot afford months of onboarding. Ubrix is built to be live in days, not quarters, with training that respects the time your team has.
Honest about trade offs
We do not try to be everything to everyone. We are transparent about where the platform is strong and where it is still growing, and we would rather say so than oversell.
Quietly ambitious
We are playing a long game to become the operational spine of UK new-build housing, and we are building the platform with that horizon in mind. No shortcuts, no gimmicks.
How we work
The way we run
We hire slowly and carefully
We would rather leave a role open than hire the wrong person. Our process is designed to be fair and transparent, and every candidate speaks with a founder directly at least once.
We work remotely with anchor days
The team operates remotely across the UK, with occasional in-person anchor days in the North East of England for deeper collaboration and team time. Travel costs for anchor days are covered.
We default to writing things down
Decisions, designs and context are written down rather than lost in meetings, so people joining the team can get up to speed from the documentation rather than relying on tribal knowledge.
We protect focus time
Engineering and design need long stretches of uninterrupted thinking time. Meetings are kept to what actually needs a meeting, and nobody is expected to respond to messages outside working hours.
We reward work that compounds
We value work that makes the product, the customers or the business materially better over time, not work that looks busy in the moment. Compensation and progression reflect that.

Speculative applications
Do not see the right role?
We review every speculative application personally. Candidates who can articulate clearly why they want to work on this specific problem, at this specific stage, are always worth a conversation.
